Off the Books 2024 Week 26

June 29, 2024

We’re going “off the books” for our usual weekly catch-up post. We won’t be doing  Bookmarked links, but instead, I’m sharing 5 pictures from my life this past week.

one+ (Sunday) We go out for SUnday brunch with friends every other week or so and it’s a tradition that I hope never stops. One of our favorite spots is “Grumpys” – the portions are big and everything is good.

two+ (Monday) Work travel this week took me back to my favorite state – New York. This is the 7th year that I’ve had a job where I get to travel throughout the USA and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity.

three+ (Wednesday) One of my friend has a tradition of going to the beach on the morning of her birthday and watching the sun rise as she reflects. She sent her friends this picture and I think it’s such a beautiful way to appreciate life.

four+ (Friday) This horse and donkey duo live across the street from the entrance to our sub-division. I hear the donkey braying at least once a day and I kind of like it. It reminds me of home in Jamaica, where there’s a rooster next door that crows morning, noon and night!

five+ (Saturday) That planter in front of my house (there’s one on each side) is looking so good! I’ve got Calladiums and pink geraniums in it. On the weekends is when I tend my gardening projects. Makes me happy.

How do you relax and unwind?
