Trends are fun, but re-purchases? Those are the real endorsements. Let’s go “off the books” to look at some of my recently finished products and whether I loved them enougn to re-buy … kind of “love it or leave it” style.

Harris & Sons Dragon Pearl Jasmine Tea. A fave morning or bedtime ritual involves a warm cuppa and reading a good book. This tea is light with a delicate flowery essence and just a delight to drink. Even now when the temperatures are climbing fast, I re-purchased without hesitation. It doesn’t feel heavy or indulgent in the way some of my Fall/Winter teas do … it still works when it’s warm outside. Verdict: Re-purchased.⮕
G. Hughes Sugar Free Orange Ginger Marinade. We use it on meat, on roasted vegetables, on basically anything that would benefit from a bright, slightly sweet kick. The ginger comes through without being overpowering, and there’s nothing weird or artificial-tasting about it despite being sugar-free. Also, this works as a marinade, or a sauce! Verdict: Re-purchased⮕
Scratch Energy Chews. My usual go to for energy gels on my runs is Jelly Belly Sport Beans (or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for long bike rides), but my local running store mainly stocks Scratch. So I tried it, and decided that I’ll stick with it for now. They say, “designed for endurance athletes using real fruit, pectin, and a dual-carb formula (glucose + fructose) to provide quick energy without GI distress“. So far I’ve tried the raspberry and orange and liked them both. Verdict: Re-purchased.⮕
One A Day (Gummy) Multivitamin. Of course the best is to get all my vitamin needs from foods, but with all the running, cycling and weight training that I’m doing, adding in multi-vtamins seems to help with fatigue. I HATE taking pills, so gummies are a must for me. Verdict: Re-purchased.⮕

Lumify Eye Drops. These are for redness of the eyes, but I tend to get yellowing occasionally and Lumify still works well to correct this. I don’t use it everyday – maybe a few days a month when my eyes need it, but it’s something that’s worth the $$ for the small bottle that you get. Verdict: Re-purchased.⮕
Chamois Butt’r. This one is primarily for my husband who uses this anti-chafe cream when he walks or rides his bike. I don’t use it as much because 95% of the time, I work out in tights with the longest inseam I can find. He does not do any cardio exercise without this. Verdict: Re-purchased.⮕
Eos Vanilla Cashmere Lotion. This is thick and has a strong, delicious vanilla smell. I ran out, but won’t be refilling this until Fall because it’s too thick for when the weather gets hotter. For now, I went with something a little lighter, so back to oldie but goodie … Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Lotion. Verdict: Will re-buy in the future but not now.⮕
Carol’s Daughter Goddess Strength Leave In Creme. As someone with locs, finding products that moisturize without causing buildup is incredibly important. My routine is pretty simple: I spritz my hair with warm water and use a little of this leave-in conditioner as a daily moisturizer. It keeps my locs feeling soft without leaving residue behind, which immediately makes it a winner for me. This is one of those products I finished and immediately replaced without hesitation. Verdict: Re-purchased.⮕
So, not everything was a re-buy. The Eos lotion is on hold until fall, but most of these? They earned their place. What’s a product that’s on your auto-buy list in those categories that I should try?
